TORONTO ROCK 2016 SCHEDULE RELEASED

Rock Will Begin The Season On The Road; Home Opener Set For January 14th Against Rochester

Oakville, ON – The Toronto Rock are pleased to announce their 2016 National Lacrosse League 18-game regular season schedule.  The Rock will begin the season on the road against the recently relocated Georgia Swarm at the Gwinnett Center on Saturday, January 9th.  The Rock will return home on Thursday, January 14th to face the Rochester Knighthawks at 7:30pm at Air Canada Centre to open the home portion of their schedule.

The NLL has announced the entire 2016 regular season schedule and the complete schedule can now be found at www.nll.com

The rematch of the 2015 NLL Champion’s Cup Final will be a home-and-home series with the Rush who moved from Edmonton to Saskatchewan following their championship win in June.  The first half of the double dip will be in Toronto at Air Canada Centre on Friday, March 25th while the back half of the weekend matchup will be played on Saturday, March 26th at Saskatoon’s SaskTel Centre.

One of the hottest tickets of the 2015 season was the home half of the home-and-home with the Buffalo Bandits.  The NLL schedule maker was once again kind to Rock fans with the two teams getting together on Friday, April 15th(at Toronto) and Saturday, April 16th(at Buffalo).
