I think it is great that more teams will have games on TSN this year but I am a little disappointed the Rock only have 5 games being broadcast. This is a step down for the Rock organization and a step up for the league as a whole. But it would be a bigger step up for the league as a whole if they were to merely add some games to the broadcast schedule, like late games in Calgary, Edmonton or Vancouver. Not just take away Rock games that in the past few years would have been broadcast.

This is great news. The NLL is much more enjoyable to watch than the NHL is. Too bad that the network does not promote lacrosse the way they do hockey ... who knows - given the right promotion, lacrosse could be the cure for TSN now that they lost out on hockey. Get yourself a couple sports reporters who know about lacrosse and lets get Canada's true National sport into the mainstream.

TSN is certainly not hurting themselves regarding NLL games. Some of us couldn't give a hoot regarding the NHL, basketball or NFL. My husband and I only care about 2 televised sports, the CFL and lacrosse. It's bad enough that they think that they need to have channels solely to show decades old games of the NHL and NFL.
We need more games of lacrosse shown. It would be great if they would televise games from other cities.

Was hoping for more Rock games like last year. But 5 games is still a plus I guess for Toronto's most successful pro team. Going to Toronto for the Jan 3rd and Feb 22nd game. So at least I'll see 7 games this season. All of them would have been great though (hint hint). GO ROCK!!!!!

btw... I agree with the two previous posters. If I lived in the Toronto area I'd have seasons tickets each and every year. Support your team Toronto.

Having the five Rock games and a few of our other Western Canadian teams on TSN is awesome!!! Even more awesome (for Rock fans outside the GTA area) would be to have the Rocks full schedule (please...please...). Maybe this a step towards getting all of Canadas NLL teams broadcasted. I only wish I lived closer than a four hour drive to take advantage of seasons tickets. I normally only get to one live game a year. They even have a special $99 for 9 games...what a deal. Go Rock Go!
