NLL and B2 Networks Announce Partnership

NEW YORK, N.Y. – The National Lacrosse League has announced a multi-year partnership with B2 Networks to offer fans around the world the opportunity to watch NLL regular-season and playoff games on B2 Networks broadband broadcasting network.

All games played in the NLL during the league’s upcoming season through 2008 are scheduled to be available worldwide for just $6 (US) per game via pay per view. Any fan with a high speed cable modem, T1 or DSL broadband connection worldwide and Windows Media Player 9 or higher can view the games. Links to the action will be made available through the official website of the National Lacrosse League (NLL.com) or any of the leagues 11 team’s Web sites.
“We are excited to now offer an entire season of NLL games to all of our fans, each and every night of the season,” said NLL Commissioner Jim Jennings. “B2 Networks has established itself as a leader in providing broadband game broadcasts to sports fans across North America and around the world, and we are pleased to team up with them in offering this great service to our fans.”

This announcement caps an amazing six-month period for the revolutionary broadband network. During that time, B2 has announced partnerships with four respected hockey leagues across North America, continued it’s path of broadcasting in minor league baseball and now, the agreement with the NLL to make games available to lacrosse fans around the world.

“It has been an incredible period of growth and challenge for our organization,” said Greg P. Bell Owner and Chairman of B2 Networks. “Our partnership with the National Lacrosse League will take B2 to a new level, broadcasting one of the fasting growing sports in North America. Everything about this league is impressive, from the major league venues where the games are played, to the thousands of fans that fill those arenas, we are honored to be the exclusive broadband broadcaster of the NLL.”

Access to all games for Rock fans
Rock fans across the country will now be able to see every game via the Internet, no matter where they live. This new league partnership has tremendous value for all lacrosse fans, especially for games which are not televised. The service is pay-per-view and there is no monthly or annual subscription fee, you just buy the game you want right before it begins.

B2 Networks (b2now.com) is a premier provider of reliable and secure international television and video broadcasting systems, pay-per-view and billing systems. The broadband broadcasting company’s network of arenas, stadiums, local venues, billing systems and data centers are currently in use to distribute live events to computer and television screens around the world. Working with teams from the AHL, UHL, ECHL, USHL, baseball’s Northern League and PCL, B2 has established itself as a leader in innovative direct to home internet and television broadcasting.

The National Lacrosse League is North America’s professional indoor lacrosse league, featuring the best lacrosse players in the world. The league’s 20th season begins on December 30, 2005.
