What to watch for vs. Colorado Mammoth

Rock Return Home After Western Winning Weekend

Hamilton, ON – The Toronto Rock (10-2) face the Colorado Mammoth (4-8) tonight at FirstOntario Centre in Hamilton, ON.  The Rock are coming off two big road wins last weekend in Las Vegas and San Diego.

Fans can watch the game vs. Colorado at 5:00pm ET on TSN 1 & 4 and TSN’s digital platform TSN+ via TSN.ca and the TSN App as well as ESPN+.  To stream the game, you need a TSN+ subscription.

Here’s what to watch for in Saturday’s matchup.

  • Last weekend’s pair of wins equaled a franchise record for the franchise’s best record through 12 games at 10-2, the 2015 Toronto Rock also held that mark through a dozen games. Tonight, this year’s edition of the Rock will attempt to get to 11 wins in 13 games for the first time in franchise history.
  • Nick Rose is closing in on some major milestones. Perhaps the biggest of which is the all-time Rock record for goalie wins.  He’s just 3 wins away from passing NLL and Rock Hall of Famer Bob Watson.
  • Since being a healthy scratch on February 16 vs. New York, Rock forward Chris Boushy has been on fire! In the 3 games since, he has 11 goals, 7 assists and 18 points.  During that stretch, he scored 7 goals in last Friday’s win over Las Vegas to tie a Rock single game record.  Rob Hellyer and Brett Hickey are the others to do it.
  • On Friday, the Rock moved forward Dan Craig to the Active Roster from the Injured Reserve list. Craig missed 3 games with an upper body injury.  Alex Kew was placed on the Practice Roster to make room for Craig.
  • INJURY REPORT: Challen Rogers (UBI) and Josh Jubenville (LBI) remain on the IR and are out for tonight’s game. Latrell Harris, Jordan McKenna, Tyler Hendrycks, and Chase Schiavon all remain on the PUP List.
  • Next weekend, it’s another chapter in the best rivalry in the NLL when the Rock travel to Buffalo to face the Bandits on Saturday, March 16 at KeyBank Center.

Fans should also check out the latest episode of Rock City Unplugged, streaming now on the Rock’s YouTube Channel and on TSN+.

Get primed for tonight’s game with the latest episode of the Toronto Rock Total Access podcast.  This week, Rock forward Josh Dawick stops by for a chat.
