Full Bio
Entering his 14th season, Thompson was drafted 9th overall in the 2011 Entry Draft by the Buffalo Bandits.
He joins the Knighthawks carrying the second-most face-off wins in National Lacrosse League regular-season history (2,560) and the fifth most loose-ball recoveries (1,900). He also holds the all-time record for playoff face-off wins with 268.
In his NLL career, Thompson played for the Swarm, Panther City, the Bandits, and the Rush, where he won three NLL championships. In his summers, he’s found championships as well as a three-time Mann Cup winner with Six Nations Chiefs.
Before entering the league, Thompson spent two seasons at Syracuse University and was named a USILA All-American both years. Before that, he was a two-time NJCAA national champion at Onondaga Community College.
