Ninjiichaag The Spirit Within Drummers is a men’s traditional drum group from the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nations.
Smudging Ceremony done by Steven WinterHawk Laforme from the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nations, Native author on Truth & Reconciliation. Elder of Four Colours Drum Circle who are stewards of a Medicine Wheel Garden at Heart Lake Conservation and over 14-year partners with Toronto Region Conservation Authority (TRCA).
Strong Water Singers is an Indigenous led womens drum group that utilizes drumming as a means to achieve wellness and balance. One of the main focuses of the group is decolonizing and redefining Sisterhood, with the emphasis being placed on reclaiming traditional ideologies of our original teachings: love, truth, humility, respect, bravery, honesty, and wisdom.
The Six Nation Smoke Dancers are from Six Nations of the Grand River Territory in Southern Ontario and will be performing the Haudenosaunee Smoke Dance. This dance derives from the Haudenosaunee war dances songs and is used today for celebrations, competitions, and for the enjoyment of the people.
