Rock Re-Sign Hudson, Moran-Weekes, and Mancini
Three Members of 2026 Championship Squad Return
Oakville, ON – Toronto Rock Owner and GM Jamie Dawick today announced the re-signing of three players who were all members of last season’s championship squad in Robert Hudson, Isiah Moran-Weekes, and Dante Mancini.
The Rock inked Hudson, a veteran defender who hails from Oakville, ON, to a one-year agreement. The 29-year-old former NLL first round draft pick is working his way back from an injury sustained in March in the late stages of a game in Vancouver that forced him to miss the remainder of last season. Hudson was acquired in 2025 from Calgary as part of the trade that sent Nick Rose westward for a playoff run with the Roughnecks.
Moran-Weekes was a 2025 NLL third round draft selection by the Rock and made his pro debut last season. He scored 3 goals and 6 assists for 9 points in 7 games. The 23-year-old from Ottawa agreed to a two-year deal to continue building on the foundation he laid in his freshman campaign in Rock City.
Mancini, a netminder from Oakville, ON, signed as an unrestricted free agent last December just before Christmas and spent the remainder of the 2025-26 season on the Practice Roster. The young goaltender has agreed to a 3-year contract. The Rock first signed Mancini in October of 2024 leading into training camp following a standout career with the Oakville Jr. A Buzz.
The Toronto Rock will open training camp on Saturday, October 31 at the Toronto Rock Athletic Centre (TRAC) in Oakville. The exhibition schedule will be announced next week.
