Rock Shuffle Roster After Weekend Games

Leblanc And Gilbert Moved Back To Active Roster

Oakville, ON – Toronto Rock Owner, President and GM Jamie Dawick has announced several roster moves after splitting a pair of games over the weekend. The Rock now sit at 5-2 after dropping a 13-12 OT decision to the league leading Georgia Swarm on Friday and downing the Rochester Knighthawks 10-6 on Saturday night.

Veteran forward Kasey Beirnes has been moved to the Injured Reserve – Second Level with a lower body injury. Beirnes missed both games over the weekend and will be unavailable this Saturday night against Buffalo, as he must spend 10 days on the Injured Reserve – Second Level, before being eligible to be activated.

As far as the roster shuffling goes, forward Reid Reinholdt and defender Connor Buczek have both been moved back to the practice roster and Stephan Leblanc and Jeff Gilbert have been placed back on the Active Roster from the Physically Unable to Perform List after missing Saturday’s game with the flu.

Toronto will travel to Buffalo on Saturday night to face the Bandits at Key Bank Center. Fans can watch the game live on NLLTV.com at 7:30 p.m. ET.

The Rock’s next home game is Friday, March 3 against the New England Black Wolves at Air Canada Centre. It’s also Star Wars Charity Night with proceeds from the evening’s fundraising efforts going towards the Smilezone Foundation. For tickets, please call 416-596-3075 or visit torontorock.com.
