Toronto Rock Players Need Your Support!

TORONTO – Fan balloting for the 2006 National Lacrosse League All-Star Game is underway. All ballots will be cast online via the league’s official website, www.nll.com. Fan balloting will remain open until February 8th.
Fans will be able to vote for the starting lineups for both the East and West teams. Fans will select a starting lineup for the East and West teams consisting of three forwards, two defencemen and a goalie.
Combined with input from the media, and team GMs and coaches, fan votes help to determine the starting lineups for the East and West division teams. Each will account for one-third of the total vote for the starting lineups.
The head coaches for the All-Star Game will be determined by the Eastern and Western Division Standings following the conclusion of all games during Week #6, which covers the games of February 3-5. The head coach of the first place team in each division at that time will serve as the head coach of the All-Star Team of their respective division. The head coach of the second place team in each division following the games of Week #6 will serve as the assistant head coach of the team of their division. Those coaches will select the All-Star reserves. Each All-Star team will have 18 players (16 runners, 2 goalies).
Each of the league’s eleven member clubs will be represented by at least one of their players in the All-Star Game.
