Pre-Season Schedule at the TRAC

Saturday, November 16 vs Rochester, 7pm ET

Saturday, November 23 vs Saskatchewan, 7pm ET

November 9th: Safetynet Children & Youth Charities (Clothing Drive)

Safetynet Children & Youth Charities was founded by Bill Shields in 2007 and services families with clothing, household items, and extra-curricular activities.  They rely on community donations to provide free items and services to financially disadvantaged families.  Fans will be able to donate new and gently used clothing and volunteers from Safetynet will be on site to collect monetary donations and provide more information to fans about their charity.  Items that are most in need are men’s, women’s, and children’s regular and thermal underwear, socks, winter coats and boots and seasonal (winter) clothing.  Fans are asked to bring items in a large reusable cloth bag (or a garbage bag).  For more information on Safetynet Children & Youth Charities, please visit https://www.safetynetservices.ca/.

November 16th: Food4Kids Halton (Non-Perishable Food Drive)

The Food4Kids program launched in Hamilton, Ontario before extending into Halton in 2013.  The program is for participants 5-14 years old who are referred by schools aware of children with limited access to food in their homes.  The program aims to be discreet and non-stigmatizing to the children and families who participate.  Because of the specific nature of Food4Kids Halton, they are asking fans to donate granola bars and large cans of soup (all nut-free).  Volunteers will also be onsite to collect monetary donations and provide more information to fans. For more information, please visit https://www.food4kidshalton.ca/.

November 23rd: Oakville Professional Firefighters Association Toy Drive (Unwrapped Toys)

The Oakville Professional Firefighters Association Toy Drive has been an annual tradition since 1992 and once again will have a presence at our pre-season games!  All toys and donations raised are donated to local charities and agencies, where they are then distributed to families in need.  While all donations are appreciated, the area of greatest need are gifts for youth ages 11 to 15.  Fans are asked to donate new and unwrapped toys to support the Toy Drive, and volunteers will be on site to collect monetary donations. For more information, please visit http://www.oakvillepffa.com/toy-drive.

The three exhibition scrimmages are open to the public and there will be no admission charged for pre-season games.  Doors will open at 6pm, one hour prior to the scheduled face-off time.
