ADAM JONES RETURNS TONIGHT

Star Forward Has Missed Last 5 Games

Toronto, ON – Toronto Rock Owner, President and GM Jamie Dawick announced this morning that star forward Adam Jones has been cleared to play and was moved to the Active Roster. The Owen Sound, ON native has missed the Rock’s last five games.

The Rock won just two of the five games that Jones missed. The crafty forward’s last game action was on Feb. 24 in New England when he scored two goals and added two assists in the Rock’s 13-11 loss to the Black Wolves.

While a healthy Jones is good news, Sheldon Burns continues to be hampered by a lower body injury and was placed on the Injured Reserve List.

The Rock face the East Division leading Buffalo Bandits tonight at 7:30 p.m. ET at Scotiabank Arena. The Rock have won six in a row at home and are looking to extend that streak tonight but they also need a win over the Bandits to remain in the hunt for top spot in the East.

Tomorrow night, the Rock travel to Rochester to face the Knighthawks at Blue Cross Arena at 7:30 p.m. ET. Fans can watch both games this weekend on Bleacher Report Live.
