Dan Dawson Moved To Injured Reserve

DAN DAWSON MOVED TO INJURED RESERVE

Toronto’s Top Pick Aaron Forster Moved To Active Roster

Oakville, ON – Toronto Rock Owner, President and GM Jamie Dawick announced a pair of roster moves today.  Forward Dan Dawson has been placed on the Injured Reserve List with a lower body injury, while rookie forward Aaron Forster has been shifted to the Active Roster from the Injured Reserve List.

The transactions are pending league approval.

Dawson suffered the lower body injury in the Rock’s 9-8 loss to Halifax last weekend.  While he won’t be available on Saturday when Toronto faces Saskatchewan, this does not appear to be a long-term injury.

As for Forster, the Rock made him their first pick in the 2019 NLL Draft in September, selecting him in the first round, 15th overall.  The 24-year old offensive righty was injured in the Rock’s final pre-season game but will now be available to Rock Head Coach Matt Sawyer and could make his NLL debut on Saturday night.

Saturday, the Rock (6-3) will face the Saskatchewan Rush (6-2) at 8:30 p.m. at SaskTel Centre.  Fans can watch the game on Bleacher Report Live at live.bleacherreport.com.
