Toronto Rock Athletic Centre Grand Opening Saturday

Oakville – The Toronto Rock Athletic Centre (TRAC) will officially open it’s doors on Saturday afternoon with a Family Fun Fair from 3pm to 6pm and the official ribbon cutting at 4:30pm.

Oakville Mayor Rob Burton, Halton Region Chair Gary Carr, Oakville Chamber of Commerce Vice-Chair Kerry Colborne, Rock Owner and President Jamie Dawick, and Rock Captain Colin Doyle will all be on hand for the grand opening this weekend.  Also in attendance will be members of the Bachly Construction team that were responsible for building the TRAC.

Local residents as well as lacrosse fans from all corners of the province are invited to visit the TRAC on this special day for Oakville, Rock Owner Jamie Dawick and the lacrosse community in Ontario as a whole.

There will be fun for the whole family with face painting, balloon animals, bouncy castles and more.  You can also meet the Toronto Rock Cheerleaders and Toronto Rock players.

Toronto’s final exhibition scrimmage of the pre-season will be played later in the evening on Saturday at 7pm against the Philadelphia Wings at the TRAC.  Seating is limited and fans are asked to arrive early, as there is seating for less than 750 spectators.  Fans can begin to line up for a free ticket to the game as of 5pm on Saturday outside the TRAC.
