Oakville, ON – The Toronto Rock Cheerleaders will return again this season as not only a popular part of the in-game experience at Air Canada Centre but also to continue their work in the community at promotional and charitable events. On Saturday, September 30th, you will have your chance to audition for the 2017-18 Toronto Rock Cheerleaders at the Toronto Rock Athletic Centre in Oakville, ON.
The Rock are excited to welcome back head coach Krista Valadao for her third season at the helm. Krista was a member of the Toronto Rock Cheerleaders for four seasons prior to becoming the team’s head coach and was a Toronto Argonauts Cheerleader prior to that.
“This year will be the best yet,” exclaimed Valadao. “I’m really looking forward to meeting the new girls coming out to auditions and reuniting with some of last year’s veterans. I’m hoping to see a lot of energy and eagerness from the girls. For this year to top the last two years, we’re going to need to amp up the energy!”
Along with Valadao, the 2017-18 Toronto Rock Cheerleaders will be selected by a panel of judges including Toronto Rock Owner, President and GM Jamie Dawick, Rock players and Z103.5’s morning show host Scott Fox.
Auditions for the 2017-18 Toronto Rock Cheerleaders will be held on Saturday, September 30 from 1:00pm to 7:00pm at the Toronto Rock Athletic Centre located at 1132 Invicta Drive in Oakville.
