Oakville, ON – Bring your finest denim, cowboy hat and boots to Toronto Rock Country Night, presented by KX Country (KX-96 and KX-947) Canada’s #1 Country, on Friday, March 11^th when the Rock try to round-up their western Canadian rivals, the Calgary Roughnecks at Air Canada Centre.

Canadian multi-genre songwriter and country music artist Tebey, who hails from Peterborough, ON and now calls Nashville, TN home, will perform for Country Night fans in attendance during The Boots and Hearts Halftime Show.

The past few years have been an incredible time for the artist and songwriter, picking up a 2015 CCMA and multiple CMAO nominations. Tebey has made quite a name for himself on country radio with multiple hit singles including his Top 10 CCMA nominated “Somewhere In the Country”, the Top 10 smash “Till It’s Gone”, his Top 5 blockbuster “Wake Me Up” and his latest Top 20 hits “When the Buzz Wears Off” and “Jealous of the Sun”. He had the most played Canadian country single at radio for two years in a row – “Wake Me Up” received more airplay than any other Canadian country song in 2014 from his current album TWO and the same feat was achieved by his song “Somewhere In The Country” in 2013, from his debut album “The Wait”.

As a songwriter, the past few years have seen multiple cuts for the likes of Emerson Drive, Doc Walker, Big & Rich, Jason Blaine, Chad Brownlee, One More Girl, and even pop stars One Direction and Shawn Desman. Tebey also scored his first UK #1 with the song “All About Tonight” performed by British pop star Pixie Lott. The song was even nominated for Single of The Year at the prestigious Brit Awards.

In addition to the halftime show, the Boots and Hearts street team will activate on the concourse with games, prizes and giveaways. Available to be won at Country Night is a pair of full event premium tickets, valued at over $1,000, to this summer’s Boots and Hearts Musical Festival at Burl’s Creek Event Grounds in Oro-Medonte, ON from August 4^th to the 7^th.
