Dawson and Schreiber Moved To Active Roster

Reid Reinholdt and Brandon Slade Placed On IR

Oakville, ON – Toronto Rock Owner, President and GM Jamie Dawick today announced the team has made a series of roster moves.  For Rock fans, there’s some good news and some not so good news.

Rock forwards Tom Schreiber and Dan Dawson have been placed back on the Active Roster.  Schreiber was on the Short Term Hold List and Dawson was on the COVID-19 Protocol List.  Both players will be available to play this weekend.  Phil Mazzuca has also been moved from the COVID-19 Protocol List back to the Practice Roster.

Unfortunately, the return of two important pieces to the Rock lineup has also come when the team has run into their first bout with the injury bug.

Forward Reid Reinholdt suffered a lower body injury in Saturday’s loss to Buffalo and then at Tuesday’s practice, defender Brandon Slade also suffered a lower body injury.  Both players have been placed on the Injured Reserve List.  Presently, there is no timetable in place for either player’s return, but it’s not expected that Slade or Reinholdt will be out long term.

Saturday’s game against Halifax will be broadcast nationally as the NLL Game of the Week on TSN2 and will be available to watch on TSN’s digital platforms via TSN.ca and the TSN App.  Tune in at 7pm ET to catch all the action.  Due to current government restrictions, there will be no fans in attendance.
