Oakville, ON – The U17 Jr. Rock defeated the U17 Jr. Knighthawks 10-7 to win the franchise’s 14th Jr. NLL title, and fourth at the U17 level, on Sunday afternoon at the Toronto Rock Athletic Centre (TRAC) in Oakville, ON at the Jr. NLL Tournament.
This year’s event was the 9th Annual three-day tournament attracted 32 total teams from across the NLL.
Like at last year’s tournament, the Rock made the finals in all three age divisions. However this year, the Rock came out as the runner-up at the U13 and U15 levels, the exact opposite of last year’s championship finals where they came out on top. The U17 squad lost in OT to the Jr. Mammoth in the 2022 tournament, but this year delivered the lone Rock title.
