After a season opening 11-9 win over the Chicago Shamrox at the Sears Centre. The Toronto Rock Blaine Manning and Rob Marshall received player of the week awards due the their outstanding performances.
Manning the Toronto Rock assistant captain entering his 7th season started the season off hot with an 8 point night (4goals, 4assists) he received both Overall and Offensive Player of the week awards.
Marshall collected the Defensive Player of the Week with an all around strong effort on defence shutting down opposing Shamrox players and collecting 4 looseballs. Marshall also chipped in draw team and penalty kill.
