Toronto, ON – The Toronto Rock General Manager Terry Sanderson announced the addition of free agents AJ Masson and Nick Diachenko to the roster for tonight’s exhibition scrimmage against the Philadelphia Wings at 7pm ET at the Toronto Rock Athletic Centre in Oakville, Ontario. Both players are now in Rock training camp on a tryout basis.
Masson was selected with the 12th overall pick in the 2013 NLL Draft by the Philadelphia Wings. The 6’1” native of Newmarket, Ontario was released earlier this week and will dress tonight.
The Buffalo Bandits selected Diachenko 14th overall in the 2013 NLL Draft. The former Whitby Jr A Warriors standout hails from Courtice, Ontario and won the Minto Cup Canadian Junior A Championship in 2011.
