ROB HELLYER NAMED AIR CANADA WINGMAN OF THE WEEK

8-assist, 11-point Night Earns Weekly Honour For Rock Forward

The National Lacrosse League has announced Toronto Rock forward Rob Hellyer as the “Air Canada Wingman of the Week” award winner for Week 9 of the 2016 NLL season.

Hellyer, who ranks third in NLL scoring with 53 points (20+33) and fourth in assists (33), posted a league-high 11 points (3+8) with eight assists in the Rock’s 17-6 home win over the Rochester Knighthawks this past Saturday. Hellyer has registered at least three points in all eight games played this season including three 10-plus point performances in his last four contests. He also leads the league with 15 power play assists and is tied for seventh among NLL forwards with 43 loose balls.
