ROCK HOLD FOUR PICKS IN TONIGHT’S NLL ENTRY DRAFT
Toronto’s First Pick Is 24th Overall
Oakville, ON – The 2018 NLL Entry Draft takes place this evening at 7:00 pm ET in Philadelphia, PA at Xfinity Live. Fans can watch the draft live, beginning with the pre-show at 6:30 pm ET, on Bleacher Report Live.
Toronto holds four picks in the six round NLL Entry Draft. The Rock have selections in the 2nd Round (24th Overall), 4th Round (44th Overall), 5th Round (57th Overall) and 6th Round (68th Overall).
“We will be looking to improve our organizational depth in a couple of key areas, most notably defensively,” said Rock Owner, President and GM Jamie Dawick. “I have to credit our scouting staff, we have made the best of some later round picks and selecting players outside the first round recently. Dan Craig is a really good example of that last season, getting him in the sixth round.”
After tonight’s NLL Entry Draft, the Rock will shift their attention to training camp preparations. Toronto will play three exhibition games in November at the TRAC in Oakville, ON. The full training camp and exhibition schedule will be released later this week.
