Rock Open Exhibition Schedule Saturday

Toronto Hosts Georgia At The TRAC In Oakville

Oakville, ON – The Toronto Rock will open their pre-season schedule on Saturday night at 7 p.m. against the Georgia Swarm at the Toronto Rock Athletic Centre (TRAC) in Oakville, ON. A reminder that seating is extremely limited at the TRAC and fans are encouraged to arrive early to secure a seat. Doors will open at 6 p.m.

Admission to the game is free, however fans are asked to bring a clothing donation to support Safetynet Children and Youth Charities. Items in need at this time of year are any type of clothing for all age groups, linens, towels, bed sheets, blankets, jackets, scarves, gloves and hats or toques. Also in need is business apparel for men and women re-entering the work force as well as sleeping bags, snow suits and shoes. The Rock will also hold a food drive in support of Oakville’s Kerr Street Mission on Saturday, December 10th and will hold a toy drive in conjunction with the Oakville Professional Fire Fighters Association on Saturday, December 17th.  The December 10th and 17th games will be broadcast live on Cogeco TV Halton.

Rock in-game host Scott Fox, of Scott Fox and Kat Callaghan in the Morning on Z103.5, will act as the public address announcer for all three exhibition contests and fans can also look forward to meeting the 2017 Toronto Rock Cheerleaders at the games.

The Rock will open the 2017 regular season on Thursday, December 29th at Rochester against the Knighthawks. Toronto’s home opener will be against the back-to-back defending NLL Champion Saskatchewan Rush on Saturday, January 14th at Air Canada Centre.
