ROCK SIGN BRADLEY KRI TO PRACTICE ROSTER

Steady Defender Returns After Being Originally Drafted By The Rock

Oakville, ON – Toronto Rock Owner, President and GM Jamie Dawick has announced the signing of free agent defenceman Bradley Kri to the team’s practice roster.  The signing is pending league approval.

The 23-year old native of Acton, Ontario returns for his second tour of duty with the Rock.  He was originally selected by Toronto in the 2nd round, 14th overall in the 2012 NLL Draft.  Kri spent the entire 2013 season on the Rock’s practice roster and signed as a free agent with the Vancouver Stealth during the 2014 NLL regular season.

After getting into just 3 games in 2014, Kri dressed for 14 of Vancouver’s 18 games in 2015.  He racked up 5 points with his lone goal coming against the Rock last January.  He also picked up 48 loose balls and caused 19 turnovers while collecting 19 penalty minutes.

As far as his summer lacrosse career goes, the young defender is on quite a roll.  Kri won the Founder’s Cup with his hometown Halton Hills Jr. B Bulldogs in 2010, captured the Minto Cup in 2012 with the Orangeville Jr. A Northmen and claimed the Mann Cup with the Victoria Shamrocks of the Western Lacrosse Association this past summer.

The Rock have now filled all four practice roster spots with the signing of Kri.  Forwards Jordan Robertson and Kyle Aquin along with goaltender Steve Fryer occupy the other three roster spots.

Toronto opens the 2016 NLL regular season on Saturday, January 9th on the road against the Georgia Swarm.  The Rock’s home opener is on Thursday, January 14th at Air Canada Centre against the Rochester Knighthawks.

Toronto Rock Season Tickets, the Upper Bowl Season Pass, Flex Packs, Single Game Tickets and Group Tickets are also on sale now.  For more information about Toronto Rock tickets, please contact our account executives at 416-596-3075 or visit www.torontorock.com.
