Toronto – The Toronto Rock are taking Twitter by storm. Ten Toronto Rock players as well as President and Owner Jamie Dawick (@JDawick) can be found firing out witty banter and insight on Twitter.
“I think it’s a great way to engage fans and interact,” said Dawick. “I hadn’t tweeted at all prior to the World Series of Poker in July, but I found the interaction while I was in Las Vegas with both lacrosse and poker fans to be a tremendous experience.”
Players utilizing Twitter include newly acquired Josh Sanderson (@joshsanderson19) and his cousin, veteran Rock defender, Phil Sanderson (@18flipper). The latter has always been known to deliver a gem or two in the locker room and hasn’t disappointed in his first days of tweeting.
