With the trade deadline approaching next Tuesday March 20th, the Toronto Rock utilized the opportunity this week and traded a 2008 fourth round draft pick for Minnesota Swarm forward Jamie Taylor.
Taylor tallied thirty-two points in fifteen games in the 2006 regular season with 8 goals and 24 assists. The 5’9″ Hamilton native was acquired by the Minnesota Swarm in a 2004 trade deal with the Rochester Knighthawks. Jamie will replace Sean Kimpinski on the active roster who moves to the injured reserve list. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
