ROCK TO FACE EDMONTON RUSH & COLORADO MAMMOTH THIS

The Rock travel to Edmonton this weekend to face off against the Rush on Friday March 16th before heading back to Toronto on Saturday March 17th to host the NLL defending Champions, Colorado Mammoth at the Air Canada Centre that evening at 7:30 p.m. EST.

Both Josh Sanderson and Aaron Wilson were in Portland, Oregon last weekend to represent the Toronto Rock at the NLL All-Star Game. Sanderson tallied three assists and Aaron Wilson had one assist in the East Division win over the West with a score of 20-16.
This weekend, the regular season resumes and the Rock take on the Edmonton Rush at the Rexall Place, Friday March 16th at 9:00 p.m. EST. Rock Head Coach Glenn Clark refers to the weekend schedule as the “second half push” as both the Rock and the Rush have a lot riding on the game heading into the bottom half of the regular season. The Rush currently stand at 3-5 in the West Division and are led by forward Chris Gill with 35 points (20 goals, 15 assists).
Blaine Manning leads the Rock in points with 49 (13 goals, 36 assists) and Aaron Wilson the lead scorer with 21 goals. The team stands at 4-5 heading into the weekend and are looking for a win to bring their record to .500 before facing the Colorado Mammoth the following evening.
Colorado, the NLL defending Champions lead the West Division with a 9-1 record, losing their only game to the Calgary Roughnecks on January 20th 2007. Two forwards, Dan Carey with 55 points (25 goals, 30 assists) and Gavin Prout with 51 points (15 goals, 36 assists) lead the Mammoth as they travel to Toronto Saturday for their only scheduled game this weekend.
