TORONTO – The Toronto Rock will welcome its millionth fan in team history during Saturday April 8th’s home game against the Philadelphia Wings. It’s a crucial game for Toronto, currently in a fight for their playoff lives in the NLL East Division.
Toronto will be the first team in the National Lacrosse League history to accomplish the million-fan feat since the league changed its name to the NLL in 1997. The game begins at 7 p.m. at the Air Canada Centre.
The Rock anticipates a near-capacity crowd for the final regular season home contest of the year. One lucky fan will win a trip for two including accommodations and airfare to the Westgate Lakes Resort and Spa in Orlando, Florida, a pair of season tickets for the 2007 season and a men’s watch from Esquire. Other lucky fans will win great prizes.
