TAKE THE ROCK CITY EXPRESS SHUTTLE BUS FROM THE WEST HARBOUR GO STATION TO FIRSTONTARIO CENTRE
Rock Fans Will Have An Express Shuttle Running Direct To FirstOntario Centre
Oakville, ON and Hamilton, ON – The Toronto Rock and Hamilton Street Railway (HSR) are proud to announce the Rock City Express shuttle bus service that will get fans from Hamilton’s West Harbour GO Station to FirstOntario Centre for all 21-22 Rock home games, beginning with Saturday’s Home Opener.
Rock fans arriving at the West Harbour GO along the Lakeshore West GO Train Line at 5:03pm, 6:03pm and any late arrivals at 7:03pm will be able to board the Rock City Express shuttle bus at no charge by showing their game ticket and travel non-stop, directly to FirstOntario Centre.
The Rock City Express will drop fans at FirstOntario Centre at the intersection of York Blvd. and Park St. N. That location will also serve as the postgame pickup spot for fans to get back to the West Harbour GO Station to board the 10:13pm GO Train, and travel on the Lakeshore East Line.
“Together with HSR, we wanted to make sure fans from outside the City of Hamilton attending Rock games could get to FirstOntario Centre in the most convenient manner possible,” said Toronto Rock Director of Business Operations Terri Giberson. “The free shuttle bus coupled with the $10 GO Train round trip weekend day pass combine to provide an affordable and efficient way to get to Toronto Rock home games on Saturday nights in Hamilton.”
Fans will be able to easily find the departure locations both at the West Harbour GO Station and FirstOntario Centre as there will be directional signage posted at both locations.
“HSR is excited to partner with the Toronto Rock Lacrosse Club to help fans attend Toronto Rock home games. The Rock City Express shuttle is a convenient, cost effective and environmentally friendly way to travel to and from the games,” said Maureen Cosyn Heath, Director of Transit, HSR.
