Toronto Rock Alumni Night Jersey Auction

Oakville, ON – The Toronto Rock Alumni Night Jersey Auction will begin on Friday, March 27th at 10am at toronontorock.com/auction.  Fans will have an opportunity to bid on the jerseys that former Rock greats such and Jim Veltman, Glenn Clark and Steve Toll will wear in the Alumni Game on Friday, April 3rd at Air Canada Centre.

A portion of the funds raised will go towards the Heart and Stroke Foundation, this year’s Toronto Rock charity partner.

For the halftime Alumni Game, the rosters have been set and are as follows.

Team Bartley will be coached by former Rock Head Coach Ed Comeau and assisted by Ken Millin.  His team will consist of Jim Veltman, Glenn Clark, Rusty Kruger, Brian Beisel, Terry Bullen, Stephen Hoar, Tim O’Brien, Pat Campbell, Kim Squire and John Rosa.

Team Sanderson will be coached by NLL hall of fame goaltender Bob “Whipper” Watson.  His team will consist of Phil Sanderson, Cam Woods, Steve Toll, Dean Harrison, Matt Shearer, Ian Rubel, Drew Candy, Phil Wetherup and Carter Livingstone.

Also joining the halftime festivities will be Jim Lang who was the host on Rock television broadcasts.  Lang will serve as the on-floor host of the halftime scrimmage.  Officiating the game will be former long-time NLL official Bill Fox.

The starting bid for all jerseys is $250 and fans are asked to bid in increments of $25.  Highest bidders on all jerseys at 2pm ET on Thursday, April 2^nd will be considered the auction winners and will be contacted by the Toronto Rock for payment and given instructions on how to claim your jersey after halftime on April 3^rd.  Winners will be asked to provide a valid credit card number with expiration date.

Should the Toronto Rock be unable to contact the winning bidder by 10am ET on Friday, April 3^rd to confirm payment, the next highest bidder will be declared the new winner.
