TORONTO ROCK OPEN MAIN CAMP ON SATURDAY

The Toronto Rock has finalized a list of 34 players that will take to the floor on Saturday to open up main camp in preparation for the 2011 season.  The entire Rock camp will take place at the Iroquois Lacrosse Arena (ILA) in Six Nations, Ontario.
 
The Rock elected to reduce their Rookie and Free Agent Camp from four days to three, wrapping things up on Sunday.  A total of 10 players advanced from the Rookie and Free Agent group that competed for main camp spots in Six Nations last week.
 
Each National Lacrosse League club carries an active roster of 23 players along with 3 players on a practice roster.
 
Below is a list of the 34 players that will attend main camp.

Geoff McNulty, Pat Maddalena, Mat McLeod, Drew Petkoff, Sandy Chapman, Tim O’Brien, Anthony Lackey, Rob Marshall, Colin Doyle, Kasey Beirnes, Creighton Reid, Kyle Ross, Garrett Billings, Blaine Manning, Patrick Merrill, Stephan Leblanc, Phil Sanderson, Brendon Doran, Jeff Gilbert, Mike Hobbins, Cam Woods, Josh Wasson, Stephen Hoar, Bob Watson(G).
 
Saturday, November 27 and Sunday, November 28 will mark the first two days of main camp as the Rock will be on the floor from 2pm to 4pm at the ILA in Six Nations.  
 
The first exhibition action for the Rock will be in Denver, Colorado as Toronto will face the Mammoth at the Pepsi Center on Saturday, December 4 at 7:00pm.
 
The Rock will play a pair of exhibition scrimmages at the ILA.  They will face Buffalo on Wednesday, December 15 at 8pm and take on Minnesota on Sunday, December 19 at 1pm.
 
Both scrimmages in Six Nations at the ILA are open to the public and there will be no admission charge.
