TORONTO ROCK TO SPORT NEW JERSEYS FOR 2008

The Toronto Rock Lacrosse Club announced that the players will wear new home and away game jerseys beginning with the 2008 season. The design change is inspired by the upcoming celebration of the teams ten year anniversary.

The Rock spent their first two seasons in shiny white and blue jerseys at Maple Leaf Gardens with their original design before replacing their game jerseys for the second time as they made the transition into the Air Canada Centre in 2001.

“Our preceding jersey lasted seven years and to recognize the franchises’ tenth season, we felt it was the time to update our look and try a new jersey” says Brad Watters, President of the Toronto Rock Lacrosse Club.

The new uniforms will be unveiled at a later date.
