Here’s what to watch for in Saturday’s matchup.

  • Last night, Mark Matthews became just the 15th player in NLL history to reach the 1,000 career point plateau. He picked up a first quarter assist on a Chris Boushy goal for the milestone moment.
  • A Rock win tonight will equal the best Rock record through 12 games in franchise history. Currently, the 2015 Toronto Rock hold that distinction having started 10-2.
  • The Rock are now 5-0 on the road this season after last night’s win in Las Vegas. The Rock are a +18 GF/GA in the five wins away from Rock City.
  • Chris Boushy’s 7 goals last night tied a Rock single-game franchise record. Rob Hellyer (2016 vs. Calgary) and Brett Hickey (2015 vs. Vancouver) are the other two players to score 7 goals in a game in Rock franchise history.
  • With 26 faceoff wins last night, TD Ierlan passed Stephen Hoar for 2nd all-time in Rock franchise FO wins. TD is now just 127 FO wins away from passing Patrick Merrill for the all-time franchise lead.
  • Rock rookie Justin Martin leads the NLL with 3 shorthanded goals.
  • It’s a top tier faceoff battle tonight. TD Ierlan leads the league at 78% and he’ll go up against the Seals’ Trevor Baptiste who is third at 71%.
  • Injury Report: Josh Jubenville (UBI), Challen Rogers (UBI), Dan Craig (UBI) are listed as out. Mitch de Snoo (LBI) is questionable for tonight’s game. Tyler Hendrycks, Latrell Harris, Chase Schiavon and Jordan McKenna all remain on the PUP List.
  • The Rock will return home next Saturday night to host the Colorado Mammoth at a special 5pm start time for Kidz Night. It’s also Dan Dawson Bobblehead night!
