BROCK SORENSEN PLACED ON INJURED RESERVE
Newly Signed Jay Thorimbert Moved To Active Roster
Oakville, ON – Toronto Rock Owner, President and GM Jamie Dawick today announced a pair of roster moves leading up to Friday’s season opener in Buffalo, NY against the Bandits.
Rock defender Brock Sorensen has been placed on Injured Reserve after suffering a lower body injury during training camp that leaves him unavailable for this weekend. Moving to the Active Roster from the Practice Roster is defender Jay Thorimbert who was signed by the Rock over the weekend. The Rock have retained Thorimbert’s practice roster tag.
The transactions are pending league approval.
The Rock will open their 2018-19 season on the road on Friday night at Buffalo against the Bandits at KeyBank Center. Fans can watch the game on Bleacher Report Live at 7:30 p.m. ET.
