Colin Doyle On PUP, Sandy Chapman On IR

Watch Tonight’s Game On Rogers TV & Cogeco TV

Oakville, ON – Toronto Rock Owner, President and GM Jamie Dawick has announced several roster moves ahead of tonight’s game in Langley, BC against the Vancouver Stealth. Colin Doyle has been placed on the Physically Unable to Perform List with an injury sustained away from the rink and Sandy Chapman has been placed on the Injured Reserve – First Level with an upper body injury. Defender Mark Farthing and forward Kyle Aquin have both been moved from the Practice Roster to the Active Roster.

Adding to the injury woes, defender Rob Marshall is banged up and will be a game time decision tonight. As for Doyle and Chapman, they are both expected to be ready to play next Saturday night when the Rock host the New England Black Wolves at Air Canada Centre.

The Rock and Stealth have identical 3-9 records and are both in need of a win to keep their playoff hopes alive. In their previous meeting this season, the Rock defeated the Stealth 9-6 on March 13th at Air Canada Centre.

The injury bug has stayed hungry in Toronto, taking another bite out of the Rock this week with Brett Hickey being placed on the Injured Reserve – Second Level. Defender Bill Greer was also moved from the IR – First Level to the Second Level on Friday.

Rock defender Bill Hostrawser was suspended for three games by the NLL on Thursday evening for his hit on Saskatchewan’s Ben McIntosh on March 25th in Toronto. Hostrawser has appealed his suspension and will be eligible to play tonight.

Toronto Rock fans will be able to watch Saturday night’s game in Langley, BC against the Vancouver Stealth live at 10 p.m. ET on Rogers TV Toronto, Durham, Peel and Georgina as well as Cogeco TV Halton. Rogers TV Toronto studio hosts Pat Gregoire and Ian Duffy will provide analysis of the game as Vancouver Stealth play-by-play voice Jake Elliott and colour man Brad Challoner call the action.
