Theme: Indigenous Heritage Night 

For the 5^th consecutive season, the Toronto Rock are dedicating a night on the home game schedule to celebrate the Indigenous roots of the game of lacrosse.  Below are some of the highlights of Saturday’s celebration. 

In Game

• A reading of the story of The Great Lacrosse Game.
• There will be a performance by jingle dancers, a singer and drummer who are collectively known as Kina Gegoo.
• The Strong Water Singers consisting of 10 Indigenous women will perform.
• Introduced by representatives from RBC’s Indigenous Development Program, a Traditional Wooden Stick Ball Game will be played at halftime narrated by Gary Parker.
• A Smudging Ceremony prior to the game featuring one player from each team, performed by Knowledge Keeper Mark Sault.

On The Concourse

• Gord Downie & Chanie Wenjack Fund will be handing out informational cards about the foundation in addition to selling merchandise with proceeds going back to the foundation.
• Woodland Creations will be selling acrylic jewelry as well as lacrosse pins and accessories.
• There will be traditional wooden lacrosse sticks on display for fans to learn about their history and significance.

Game Worn Auction

• The online auction of game worn/game issued shorts and jerseys is now live and ends on Tuesday, Feb 3^rdbenefitting the Gord Downie & Chanie Wenjack Fund.  Fans are invited to participate at com/auction

Broadcast: Fans can watch the game vs. Ottawa at 7:00pm ET on TSN’s digital platform TSN+ via TSN.ca and the TSN App as well as ESPN+.  To stream the game on TSN+ or ESPN+, a paid subscription is required.  Fans can also watch the game for FREE on NLL+.

Doors Open: 6:00pm

Feature of the Game: Indigenous Heritage Night Collection is available at the Toronto Rock Team Store at Section 113.  New merchandise includes replica jerseys, hoodies and hats that are EXTREMELY limited.

Bag Policy: Only small purses, clutch, or fanny pack type bags smaller than 16.5cm x 11.5cm (6.5”x4.5”) are permitted. If for any reason (medical or other) a bag is required that does not adhere to the bag policy, entry may be permitted subject to x-ray inspection of the bag and contents. TD Coliseum strongly encourages fans to not bring any type of bags. There is no bag check available at TD Coliseum.
