Rob Hellyer Added To COVID-19 Protocol List

Phil Mazzuca Moved To The Active Roster

Oakville, ON – Toronto Rock Owner, President and GM Jamie Dawick has announced the team has placed forward Rob Hellyer on the COVID-19 Protocol List.  Defender Phil Mazzuca has been moved to the Active Roster from the Practice Roster.

“It’s another big blow to our offence and our team,” said Dawick.  “It’s terrible, but the health and safety of our players and staff is still the most important thing here.  Hopefully everyone can get through all this safely early in our season and put it behind us.  This will provide some players with another chance to step up and get us to where we want to be on Saturday night.  It’s truly next man up at this point.”

Saturday’s game against Halifax will be broadcast nationally as the NLL Game of the Week on TSN2 and will be available to watch on TSN’s digital platforms via TSN.ca and the TSN App.  Tune in at 7pm ET to catch all the action.  Due to current government restrictions, there will be no fans in attendance.
