LF Marley Angus signed to a one year agreement. Angus returns to the Rock after another season of knocking on the door in hopes of landing a full-time spot on the active roster.
October 15, 2024
LD Justin Martin signed to a two year agreement. Martin is the living, breathing example of never giving up. He made his NLL debut at the age of 25 last season and played all 18 regular season games and all 3 playoff games. He also led all Rock defenders with 10 goals.
LD Jordan McKenna signed to a one year agreement. McKenna missed last season due to injury but returned to action this past summer with the Oakville Rock of the OSL.
October 11, 2024
LD Owen Hill signed to a one year agreement. The 25-year-old free agent defender appeared in one game for the Halifax Thunderbirds in 2023. In the summer, he’s most recently played for the Six Nations Sr. B Rivermen of Ontario Series Lacrosse (OSL).
G Dante Mancini signed to a one year agreement. The 21-year-old recent Jr. A grad went undrafted in the 2024 NLL Draft. The Oakville, ON native played his Jr. A ball with his hometown Oakville Buzz.
October 10, 2024
LD Zack Kearney signed to a two year agreement. The Rock’s top pick from the 2023 NLL Draft exceeded expectations in his first year in the NLL. After starting the year on the practice roster, Kearney took advantage of the opportunity to get in the lineup as injuries arose during the grind of the NLL season. He’s versatile and competes as hard as anyone.
October 8, 2024
RF Sam English, LD Alex Messier, RF Connor Shellenberger moved to the Draft List. All three players were selected in the 2024 NLL Draft. English has returned to Syracuse, Messier currently plays hockey in the OHL for Erie, and Shellenberger is unable to participate at this time.
October 7, 2024
LF Gavin Thibeault signed to a one year agreement. Thibeault finished up his OJLL career with the Burlington Jr. A Blaze this past summer. Prior to that, he starred with his hometown Halton Hills Jr. B Bulldogs. He loves to score goals and is a very slippery check. He’s also a great teammate and a leader. He went undrafted in the 2024 NLL Draft but he’s well known to the Rock staff and will come to camp to compete for a spot.
G Sam Haines signed to a one year agreement. He’s been the Rock’s third goaltender for the last two seasons and will come to camp looking to climb the ladder coming off a successful stint with the Netherlands at the World Lacrosse Box Championships.
October 4, 2024
LF Brian Cameron signed to a one year agreement. The Rock selected Cameron out of Rutgers (NCAA) in the second round, 36th overall in the 2022 NLL Draft. He was placed on the Rock’s Draft List as he played out his NCAA eligibility in 2023 and then a coaching commitment kept him away in 2024. Cameron is now ready to take a run at the NLL and Rock City should keep an eye on the big talented lefty forward at training camp.
October 2, 2024
RD Chase Schiavon signed to a one year agreement. Schiavon was selected by the Rock in the 2023 NLL Draft but spent the 2023-24 season on the Physically Unable to Perform List after injuring his shoulder during the OJLL season in 2023. He returned to action this past summer in the BCJALL.

September 24, 2024
LF Tyler Hendrycks to a two year agreement. Hendrycks burst on the scene last season showing why the Rock selected him in the second round of the 2022 NLL Draft. His rookie season was interrupted when he had to have his appendix removed in February. Hendrycks returned to the Rock lineup for the final playoff game against Buffalo and scored a goal.
September 23, 2024
RF Sam Parent to a one year agreement. The Nepean Knights Jr. B graduate was a member of the powerhouse 2022 squad that captured the Founders Cup in dominating fashion. He was a key contributor on that team and while he went undrafted, he’s certainly a player to watch heading into training camp. Parent attended Newberry College and played for the Capital Region Axemen Sr. B this past summer.
September 20, 2024
RD Elijah Gash signed to a two year agreement. Gash appeared in 4 games as a rookie with Panther City in 2023-24. He was claimed by the Rock in the PCLC Dispersal Draft with the 12th selection.
RF Luke Robinson signed to a one year agreement. The righty forward was selected by Las Vegas in the 2023 NLL Draft but didn’t crack the squad. He’s no stranger to the TRAC having played his summer ball each of the last two seasons with the Oakville Rock.
