What to watch for vs. Panther City

Rock Travel To Texas For First Time

Fort Worth, TX – The Toronto Rock (1-0) will face Panther City (1-1) on Friday night at Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, TX.  This is the first-ever meeting between the two clubs and it’s the Rock’s first road game of the season.

Fans can watch the game vs. Panther City at 8:00pm ET on TSN’s digital platform TSN+ via TSN.ca and the TSN App as well as ESPN+.  To stream the game, you need a TSN+ subscription.

Here’s what to watch for in Saturday’s matchup.

  • Nick Rose was listed as questionable for tonight’s game with a lower body injury on the NLL’s official injury report. Rose was a full participant at morning shoot around.
  • Mark Matthews holds the NLL’s current iron man streak, having played in 171 consecutive games. The Mailman scored four goals in his Rock debut on Dec. 9 vs. Philadelphia.
  • Rookies Justin Martin and Tyler Hendrycks both scored in their NLL debuts vs. Philadelphia in the Rock’s season opener on Dec. 9 at home.
  • Chris Corbeil and Tom Schreiber both remain on the IR and neither player will play tonight against Panther City.
  • The Rock will return home next weekend to face the New York Riptide on Saturday, December 30th at 4pm on Steel City Rock Night featuring a halftime performance by Monster Truck.
